nvturner
I have a yellow light on the control unit that states 'call installer' The log also reports "Tamper Z07 Rstr" which is the remote input panel This was after the property lost power and was hard-reset at the fuse box. Any suggestion is welcome Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39623-call-installer-scantronic-9651-cooper-security-9930/ Share on other sites
datadiffusion
Sounds as if you have a faulty battery, the tamper has been 'restored' so could be a PIR or DT that shows 'tamper' until it's properly powered up for a few seconds, I think some Riscos are known for this. I would get someone in for a full service and battery change. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39623-call-installer-scantronic-9651-cooper-security-9930/#findComment-438831 Share on other sites

nvturner
Besides calling a security engineer in place of the actual installer (whom has ceased to trade) is there anything that could be done in the mean time? When you enter the user code it beeps, tells you of problems but doesn't allow the setting of the alarm. nvturner
Thanks for the advice : this is now resolved. Contacted a local intruder alarm company, they reset the engineers code and all is well once more Edited January 26, 2016 by nvturner Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39623-call-installer-scantronic-9651-cooper-security-9930/#findComment-439060 Share on other sites
