Fitting HD CVI cameras with baluns, should I go for screened or norm cat5?

Do they make baluns with screen connection ?

Do you mean shielded cat5e the one with just the aluminum foil ?

When you said screened I had the one with braiding and drain wire in mind.

There still is no connection for a shielded cat5e plug in the balun.

Don't use cat5 if you can. Or watch for volt drop

Baluns are designed for utp so not screened

We made the mistake of using CAT-5 - CCA w/ baluns

Our runs were less than 90m but still, this affected image quality - we had to boost it with additional PSUs to give it a good signal.
