Hi,

 

I need to but a couple of two way radios. I'm working in a big old factory and need to communicate with my mate.

 

Phone signal is no good and Wi-Fi is non existent.

 

Can anyone recommend a good set of Walkie Talkies.

I've had both Motorola 300?in the past, expensive but good, also had some cheap cobra ones that were OK

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

How big?

Are we talking PMR's or bigger?

The more expensive cobra are fine imho

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

We use ICom F4200 VHF, get about 5 mile out of them in open terrain

Perfect for huge industrial or commercial environment with loads of steelwork
