Hi all.

 

I am intending replacing the spy glass in my front door with a covert cameraa, but I don't want any cables trailing into the living room where the PC is located, but I was wondering if I couls attach the camera to an old unused mobile phone and f so, what should I do and what gear would I use?

There is a wall socket in the hallway

Something like this might be better. I wouldn't think you can attach the camera, but you could use a low power pc and a capture card

Yep, there's a HD camera mod.

With it's WiFi and small housing you will only have to worry about powering it.
