I use and swear by theBosch GBH24VRE. It has to be the best I have used. The only problem I have had with mine in the past 4 years was the keyless chuck jammed.

That's because it's pneumatic hammer rather than percussion hammer.

I know that.. Still a better drill than the 24V DeWalt I had, that was always breaking down.....even caught fire once and it finally died at less than 2 years old.

Flippin thieves have cost me a fortune in Drills these last 10 years.

Tell me about it, i had all 4 of my drills stolen in one foul swoop, 2 dewalts, an aeg mains drill and a 20 quid cheapie, what these imbeciles dont seem to understand is the fact that they're not just taking someones tools, but someones means of making a living. Oh and what really took the biscuit was the total non interest of the police.

I hear you, probably one of the worst 24v drills out there, no guts at all, and breaks at the first sign of something hard!

All my power tools, my tool box and tool case come out at night.

had 2 swiped off site a few years ago , been ultra vigilent ever since.

Thanks, have learnt the hard way, take all my hand tools inside now, and lock all my power tools in a vault in the van, got a 360 passive linked to a scany transmitter in the front linked to my house alarm now, has caught the little scumbags coming back for a second and third visit, just wish id installed it a week earlier than i did.

Bosch man again, had mine nicked from site (3 weeks old!!) went to report it to the site agent and use his phone, they'd had that as well.

Great minds think alike but I use a Visonic wireless Pir mounted ITC of the back door facing frontwards.

Yup has never gone off except when i got late night 'visitors' now all i gotta do is work out a way of stopping them putting great big gouges under the handles of my sliding doors to get in. Cost our firm 600 quid to fix 2 doors last time only for the same 2 to be done again less than 2 months later.
