mfacer
Hi - we have one security (flood) light at the front of our house. We're looking to have 3 or 4 more lights around the house installed. I was wondering if it's possible to run these in a dasiy-chain style? I read that if I link all the L1s together, the PIR sensor will trigger all the lights. Is this correct? I have a fused switch inside the house which powers the one flood light at the front. I was planning to use weatherproof junction boxes to spur off to each light. Thanks for any information! Matt. james.wilson
Depends if the relay can switch that much load Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Rulland
As James, most PIR type floodlights I have worked on though are capable of switching up to 1000 watts, so the capacity to run a few lights is available.
norman
You could also put lower wattage lamps in, say 2-300w Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

morph
My advice on this would be to get a competent electrician to do the job, asking the above would show that your a little out your depth.

james.wilson
led wont give the light output of halogen. your theory is probably flawed. Cubit
led wont give the light output of halogen. your theory is probably flawed. Light output wasn't mentioned. So a larger led could be used. Those led floods are not bad actually.
