Hi im tring to connect 16 cameras to 4 32 inch tvs viewing 4 cameras on each screen so far the only way I have tjoight how to do it is the following way

This is the plan

Why not just use 4 quad switchers instead of DVRs.

Cameras into DVR.>

Loop through onto switchers>

1 coax between switcher and TVs

Do you want HD images to the TV's?

If so four 4 way HD-SDI DVR's would work better.

 

I don't see why you need the huge DVR with the four little DVR's.

 

Either one huge DVR with 4 programmable HDMI out's (If there's one available) or four 4 way DVR's with Ethernet to access each.

You could always use a tv modulator if you have aerial sockets by the TVs or if they are smart tvs could the network be used to view all cameras from one DVR?

It's alright, I didn't see the "main monitor".

 

Still not quite sure I understand the application of it really.

Why not have a larger screen on 16way?

I suppose allot to do with location and perhaps being able to switch at each point, then still asbove one Dvr , a switch , or loop through monitors instead of tv's , lots of good ideas above!
