matthew.brough
Strange move but plans are afoot to try and get the law changed so non payment of your tv license is a civil issue like any other bill. You stop paying it of they do? Quote www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

datadiffusion
The result will still be the same as if you turn round and say 'I'm not paying my credit card bill', although unlike that the deterrent won't be 'you can't watch TV'. But you'll get the same judgements etc... that can affect your life elsewhere. datadiffusion
How they going to prove you were watching live tv? If you let them in, and they find the set both tuned in and/or aerial wires connected, its enough AFAIK.
