It's more likely that the suspect keypads aren't as tolerant to your unstable bus / voltages. I have never had a faulty galaxy out of a box in 5 years of fitting them We had a spate of flickering keypads a few years ago, but nothing else. GalaxyGuy Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I've seen a few panels with RS485 bus damage due to bad installation. +12V on the data lines. Have also seen a batch of keypads built incorrectly in China. This caused the LED's to be very bright and shine through the plastics around the membrane. These still worked, but would light up the room at night. All normally very reliable - with the exception of a few firmware issues which could do with being fixed.
