I just wondered what the advantages are to being a trade member.  Why is there another forum area?

So we can talk about topics we don't want joe public to read such as industry issues and concerns that wouldn't be appropriate for joe public to read.

Prudence plays a big part, also to do with trade not wanting perhaps to help or talk openly to the public, we could inadvertently give away what is very serious and useful information, or have public interrupt what is often an experienced specialist only trade discussion.

Those who are happy to will post in here, while those who feel differently can filter out non trade.
