What would you recommend for a (static external domes) which is nice and crisp picture wise without spending a fortune on mega pixel cameras.  Something in the region of 700/800tvl?  What domes do mainly install on domestic systems?

Rather the CCD chip too. We install using rg59, but just trying to locate a good domestic dome camera.

That's what we want to offer along with the lower spec CCTV.  Like for like showing the custy.
