I'm pretty damn sure in a court of law they would use something like ' A torch is for casting light, to see in less than favourable conditions, yet you choose to carry a weighted baton with a bulb at its front, I'm sure there are less obvious and lethal ways to turn night into day'-and they'd be right unfortunateley, you yourself Matt have basically admitted its the reason you carry it, true?. There is a guy on YouTube that's quite funny called the love police who enjoys testing PC plods knowledge of the law.
