Hi, I am an enthusiastic amateur just joined and hoping for some advice.

 

I have an old Omnicrom 700 which I installed years ago.  It has been reliable, effective and served me well.  The bell box though was damaged by the builders so I have tried to fit a Honeywell Reson 8.  Just can’t get it to work though.

 

The led both come on and the systems is quiet when I put it all together.  Rest using engineers code still OK.  When I try to arm I get 2 zone lights come on and can’t get rid of them.  Set the alarm and it seems to work except when I trip it the internal sounder goes off but not the bell box. 

 

Arghh!

 

Any ideas?

 

I have mirrored the wiring

Panel                                                                     Bell Box

Strobe -                yellow                                   STB

SCB  T                    white                                    RTN                       

SCB  A                   blue (tried green)            Hold off –

Bell+                      Red                                        Hold Off +

Bell-                       black                                      TRNG

 

The battery is enabled and when I disconnect the power supply the sounder goes off.

 

Any help greatly appreciated
