datadiffusion
@AP Agreed easy for me to site here and say that as I don't use Texe (atm) Rather that than be hit by a big legal bill for FTA. And not all updates are required. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Alarm Protection
+1 Do early PMV whilst there? Why as there is some fault? Quote !
james.wilson
I feel a lack of updates is a bad thing. The recent cctv hack shows that. Id rather see firmware updates than none, seems a bit ostrich to me Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. matthew.brough
Why as there is some fault? If we have to do a unplanned site visit such as a firmware update we will bring forward a PMV and tie the 2 together. datadiffusion
What? I would rather visit a site and update than risk a Fail to Alarm claim, insured or not (fyi I am!) It's not our core panel but the Ricochet is something else. Just got a 12w on the bench. Texecom quality at Pyronix enforcer money Can't wait to try mine. But being 'good' and finishing demo wall and Axis/Webway IP imaging demo box first. Besides which having to wait a couple of weeks for my android pad. Untill some fault occurs and a firmware update is required...... I'm assuming being a basic panel and essentially new the 12 will have a few updates to begin with then not so many. A pure guess I know. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
matthew.brough
Richochet does look good though It's very impressive. We have put it in place where traditional 2 way with repeaters failed miserably. It just works. We had issues with it when in hybrid node but in always awake not a problem. Untill some fault occurs and a firmware update is required...... Considerably more faith in the 12w than an enforcer. @dd the only thing you might not like about it is without some serious butchering a communicator doesn't fit in it. It's in a r8 end station sized box. Quote www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
