That means the contact wasn't actually tampered as is wasn't connected into the circuit

not sure matthew but seems my butt is covered if they are grade 2 anyway !!

i had an inspection the other week and when he inspected the roller shutter contact he pulled me up because i hadnt connected the tamper from the JB to the contact (inside the protected lead).

i had connected a pair in the JB (4k7) but he insisted i use the loop inside the lead so the tamper runs all the way to the contact. the JB was tamper proof

I'd share the inspectors view.

Speaking of which anyone know where i can get rdc with about 1 and a half metre lead?

We use the Aritech DC108 which comes with about 2 meters of lead. We get them from Enterprise.

They're G2 only though.
