Galaxy 60

Featured Replies

Some help needed, Galaxy panels are not my norm but can do most things but stuck on a problem.
Galaxy 60 lost all programming and so having to start from scratch
System has two independent areas both have there own e/e and max keypad
Programmed all zones etc and enabled groups
Programmed the zones into there relevant group

How do I allocate each keypad to a group?
Some users can access both groups and others just one group - how is it set up so that the multi area users just enter that area and arm/disarm that area only?

58 keypads will allow selection of groups

You allocate the groups to the users in 42

Be careful with that 60, i've had a few like that over the last year. It means the on board battery is ******. Any total power down will result in the same issue,

Was the MEM switch closed? Some leave open and this gives you a "Cold start". As in all info lost.

dont group the rkp's,the users who have access to both groups need the star added to the group function in codes they will unset the group which the entry door is progd to by using their fob, they will have to unset the other group by presenting the fob again and select the group to unset, you might want to group the ee horns in 53 so they dont annoy the other..

Not sorted!

I'll go through the settings I have programmed

Allocated zones to relevant areas ( 1 or 2)

Menu 58 - Keypad - Groups - Put one keypad into group 1 and the other into 2 - pressed * to restrict setting unsetting the area to that keypad

ie Groups>A*_2__

Menu 63 - Options - Max - Max Parameters

Select max reader (either 10* - Keypad in area 1 or 11* - Keypad in area 2)

Max Group - select group

ie A_2__

Menu 42

Groups

Select groups 1 and 2 and *

What am I missing?
