August 19, 201213 yr comment_288304 Hi I purchased a brand new unused SD1 dialer on ebay and the audio quality on playback is very poor any way of improving quality and volume of recording. I have tried recording with cover removed not much better. Any thoughts. email Please read the rules before posting thanks Edited August 19, 201213 yr by PeterJames Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33304-sd1-very-poor-audio-playback-quality/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 August 19, 201213 yr comment_288308 How poor, bear in mind eBay is used by some to get rid of less than perfect gear rather than reject it. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. August 19, 201213 yr comment_288309 You can try recording with the front off and talk directly into the microphone, but i've had this before and ended up replacing the unit. August 20, 201213 yr comment_288403 Rust = Moisture Not good for electronic items. There not normally crystal clear, but should be clear enough to understand the speech on the telephone. As said before quiet background, speak clearly into the microphone on the back of the PCB, if your still not happy it's possibly faulty.
