Probably asked before but

Nsi are saying it doesn't comply? And it's in there great book somewhere with an explanation?

 

Last inspection  was told they are ideally for cables across entry routes / fire escapes. funny how things change.

I think that would depend on what you are stapling into. Timber, fine but plaster board no.

So is it in the regs ie nsi can say this? Or are they talking a load of staples ?

 

NSI say suitable fixings, staples are suitable depending on use.

Then basically they full of it if they ask someone to remove them for no reason

 

Because they are in to plaster or plasterboard.

Yes, and because people treat them like Gods and fear to challenge them, if you think they are wrong, challenge them.
