Nope Mr H, I am just a little disillusioned with our country/the state of it at the moment-as I dare say are a lot of fellow taxpayers/countrymen...

Colin,

stergeon ?

thought they where massive ?

are these common in ponds?

stergon and sterlets are a member of the same family its just that sterlets are the babies of the family (sterlets) grow to approx 6 feet long but are limited to the soze of the pond, where as stergeon will grow to approx 10 feet maybe a bit more depending on conditions, but the type we have in the pool is sterlet (my typo) heres a photo to prove it o you all, Ps the pond also has different species of fish in there as well, (ghost koi, goldfish, grasscarp, shubunkin, theres approx 16 fish in total, and a sterlet/ miniature stergon, also in the small tank we reer small fish to larger fish like a junior tank, then they get transfered to a large tank indoor, then the following year when old enough they will go into the pond outdoor, the pools holding about 4000 litres of water, hees a couple of shots of the phone camera from late last year.
