petrolhead
I was thinking of getting a cheap borescope off ebay, there are usb ones that plug into a netbook or laptop for about £30, I think they would be handy for looking inside walls and voids, anyone tried one? Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

petrolhead
Thanks for the replies, mine arrived today from dart systems, seems well made for £29 delivered. Wall mounting a plasma later this week so that will be a good chance to test it for looking inside walls.
