July 27, 201015 yr comment_247063 sorry alan, your quite right a short would cause a tamper in that instance. I misunderstoood and thought you meant something else. so your actually admitting for once i'm RIGHT!!! your taking all the fun out of being in this forum for me so my world is now crushed Arfur //skips of into the sunset with flourishing his newly gold coated neon screwdriver// no, I was waiting for my apology ............. LOL still it`s the second most pointless topic I`ve ever seen on the board. coughs - well said by the one whom started it Arfur thorn security panels did this, the 7002 and 7008, i guess other companies adopted it, used to be a name for that type of zone technology, but can't recall it. i know of another tpe that had the resistors in parellel with the contacts, sort of fore runner to EOL. July 27, 201015 yr comment_247064 If you prog scanny ENxx zone as 24hr, then it does become opposite polarity to eg pa or na zone. (can also mix fsl, fsl with various res values or dble pole on different zones. Need to correct myself here. progged as 24hr - same polarity progged as tamp - opposite polarity therefore can do foil, frames etc.. For oc pa's or pm's can use invert attribute, (where ever you want to stick your resistors, or do 4 wire) gonna have a better play at w/end, cos only done this on panel. (eg off keypads cos can only do fsl off them) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/29414-do-most-panels-change-their-circuit-polarity/page/7/#findComment-247064 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
