Logic 4 Panel

Well thats proves sounder ok.

Check on panel pcb. There will be a two or three fuses. From memory, think 1 for battery (1.6A), 1 for aux 12v (1A), and 1 for bell/strobe (1A).

With all power off (mains & battery - sounder goes), gently prise out each fuse in turn and pinch together the lugs of the fuse holder (1pair per fuse) and then put fuse back in (dont mix up fuses). Re-connect battery, shut lid then re-appy mains. Trigger alarm.

If no joy, I reckon you need a new panel.

tried this still the same ill take your advice and get a new panel thanx all for advice

kind regards barry

Hi guys I have a logic 4 panel which works brilliant, the outside bell doesn’t sound well, is this easy to replace and if so what kind of bell would I need to go for ?

Hi Thomas: What type of external sounder do you have at the moment, is it one of the old wedge shape ?.

When was the Logic 4 last serviced ?. Does your sounder have a strobe fitted ?

To answer your question: For someone that knows alarms and is confident working at the top of a ladder, it should be an easy swap out. As long as the Installer used 6 or 8 core cable and it's not a panel fault causing your problem.

Logic 4 is likely to be 4 core era, possibly has a mechanical bell.

Always used 6 myself but one firm I did service for only ever gave their installers 4 core for everything, guy was an ass. Always bought the cheapest of everything but charged ott prices for it.

You think it's been serviced? Or Iceland take no bells service from Pete now?

Bloody hell where did you find that picture ?. I've never seen an ADT wedge before.
