whats going to happen, the O/P mistakes the thick mains cable screwed into the fuse block for the battery lead maybe?

battery gets recharged super quick? :whistle:

does that include the cost of installing a timer that will malfunction the system just after the 12 month warranty has expired?

Ah a service timer smudge18.

Great invention/option makes the system lock if service not carried out.

They have their place (rental systems springs to mind) but can be overused too.

If you want one they are extra, lol.

The practice of fitting service timers for that reason is illegal, not to mention the tool of the cowboy. If you have one id report it to your local trading standards (i would normally say inspectorate but no approved compnay would do this)

What about fitting panels that cant be defaulted (eng code required or back to manufacturers). Are they illegal?
