  2. It's the EU adopted opinion based on criteria of article 5.3 for session cookies. Additionally, if anyone has any gripes or concerns relating to my sites, simply contact me. It would never be my intention to dupe or defraud anyone. I am a registered professional and would do my utmost to resolve any issue. I have hundreds of happy customers, so must be doing something right.
  3. Trying to understand the statement above. Did you connect your phone line to the T connection ? Your solution ^^^ sounds a bit odd as these are outputs and your fault is an input.
  4. You have nothing to lose if you're going to have to swap the board out anyway.
  5. You don't have to acknowledge the tamper if you are in engineering mode. You just need to 'esc' out and get the 'checking tampers' message. If you still receive the tamper warning for 0004, then the contact between the 'T' and '0V' terminals is not good. If you have a meter, then check these pins to ensure there is no voltage differential present. Ie. 0V. If you get 0V, then the board may be faulty, or be in some wierd 'Flex' state.
  6. I only really use the TCC8M, but they are any button to register. If you look at the portal, is the device transmitting anything Ie. flashing the RF LED when you press ? If not, then battery or device may be at fault.
  7. It's been a while since I've done a full install, but I agreed to fit a domestic for a friend in need. Jeez, I had forgotten how much work it is and why I write software now. I just can't imagine doing it day in day out. I was shattered after it. An 8 zone install on a Galaxy G2 with Ethernet in a bungalow and it took 8hrs solid working on my own. The house had a previous owner DIY install, but it was a mess and more of a hindrance, so I had to rip out and bin wires and all. Felt a bit sorry for my friend as the companies she had out to re-do the plumbing and re-wire electrics hadn't done very tidy jobs. Respect to the guys fitting tidy hard wired systems.
  8. I'm surprised at you Matt. With your constant whining about getting professionals in all the time, you're decorating and removing wall sockets on your own??? Shouldn't you be getting suitably qualified tradespeople in rather than DIY'ing it yourself ?
  9. Ah okay, I see a kit for half that on SW. Anyone have any comments on the Ethernet interface ? How secure ? AES/RSA???
  10. Doesn't that come in at £600+VAT though ? Must admit, it would have to be pretty impressive for me to spend that on a domestic panel.
  11. I suggested the Dimension, as the OP wanted a Flex. I would always choose the Dimension over the Flex. The firmware is hardened. I'd agree that the G2-20 would do everything, but with the 2.5A PSU, the Dimension will drive the sirens without the hassle of external supplies. Also for DIY go to Ebay. There are plenty good panels being ripped from defunct businesses or takeovers. The panels are rock solid anyway!
  12. On-board 12 zones with the Flex. If you want to expand the FX20, then add a RIO. If you want wireless capability, you cannot mix RIO and RF portal on the FX20 - The Flex is buggy as hell around the virtual RIO config when adding wireless. My advice would have been to get a Dimension 48 over the Flex panels, but since you've bought already it's too late...
  13. Enter master code. 42.1 (Program users) Select a user account and 'ent' Select option 5 (RF Fob) Press '*' Then press any key on the fob to populate the serial number.
  14. Pretty much what I've seen when looking at security device firmware. No obfuscation or encryption of any constant vectors used. Especially easy to find them when you have an accompanying exe with the same sequence. Pretty sure I could pattern match the executable against a technistore panel binary and have that vector in a couple of minutes.
  15. Virtual RIO addresses are not related to RF Portal addresses. The virtual RIO address will be the next availableaddress on the system Menu 51.60.1 to reassign the virtual rio addressing.
  16. 52.2 Select Zone for RF 11.1 Press * then tamper the device. The serial number will automagically populate.
  17. For the SHK8M switch 4 (test) in the off position. Set the panel up for learning the RF device serial, install the battery, press the tamper for a few seconds and release.
  18. That's confusing Matt! The old RF RIO (C076) is seen by the systems as a RIO and is programmed by connecting a keypad locally to its programming header. There are two RF portal models: C077 Used on G2 series only and programmed in panel menus. C079 Used on G2 or Dimension panels and programmed in panel menus. C079-2 (new rev of C079)
  19. Your approved vendor/equimpment list may end up quite small then... Ha ha. Not in a personal way cg.
  20. CG, I'm cringing each time you start a new topic... I've looked at some UDL programs and signalling TCD's, but couldn't bring myself to openly discuss the issues uncovered.
  21. These are freely available from Honeywell. Hopefully my posted links will work: The older TouchCenter CP040 CP040 The new TouchCenters CP041 and CP042: CP041-CP042
  22. You need Honeywell's conversion program to convert your files into a format recognised by the keypad. Also, the SD card needs to be FAT16 and small capacity - something like a 32MB will work. There are two different conversion programs for the different keypad types.
