Sounds like a Powermax with external Octa-Quads
I would think the reason behind them not picking up is they sleep for a while after each activation.
-
Generally wired will have "comfort" LED's and wireless will not (to extend battery life).
So if you see a wired bellbox with no LED's that would probably mean the system is dead.
-
"NACOSS Accredited"?
-
No part of the system can indicate if the system is armed or not.
There can be a system has armed indication but this must only be shown briefly (90 seconds IIRC).
So flashing strobe three times on armed for example is ok.
-
Yep seems wired correctly. Test the output with a multimeter.
-
Didn't see the HDSI .
It's alright, I didn't see the "main monitor".
Still not quite sure I understand the application of it really.
Why not have a larger screen on 16way?
-
Do you want HD images to the TV's?
If so four 4 way HD-SDI DVR's would work better.
I don't see why you need the huge DVR with the four little DVR's.
Either one huge DVR with 4 programmable HDMI out's (If there's one available) or four 4 way DVR's with Ethernet to access each.

I meant in France sorry.
Oh I see.
Well it's illegal to use a scat-nav with speed camera alerts in France also.
-
And camera alert devices are illegal in the land of the frogs. So, cameras ain't to slow people down but to empty their wallets.
This is correct most of europe has this policy Italy and even ROI IIRC.
My car has speed camera's built in the nav, radar detectors are illegal afaik.
GPS or Radar/Laser detection is not illegal here to own or use.
Many manufacturers where bullied into replacing there models for GPS versions.
Laser Jamming is illegal, however it is not illegal to own or sell units (normally labelled laser garage door openers).
-
We also have a few CS3200 units about.
They look like the CS2300 but are GPRS only (G2r)
-
So you have proved it's the device then?
-
Here many CS2300 type, some Gradeshift older ones won't be.
CS5600 recently for keyholder only stuff.
Even have a couple of old white GPRS ones out there, not sure of the model number.
-
I could be wrong but I know our company needs to offer a 'Mobile Friendly' number from 13th June.
Monitoring stations have recently moved from 0870 to 0844.
I would say this legislation means they would have to move to 03 numbers, given that many companies use there services OOH

Pot, kettle ...Dom, if you lie the detector on your wrist, the pir LED will flash with your pulse.
-
visonic says on its data sheet that one of the powermax panels is 2 way but the only 2 way peripheral is a keyfob. Everything else is one way
I believe there are other items that are two way, but yes the detection is one way.
-
So you don't disagree they are good?
I think there pants.
Guys, thanks for the help. Reading an information about Texecon, found the information "pulse counter", what is it?
Basically an adjustment for the PIR's sensitivity.
-
Risco's newer stuff is 2 way, probably confusing as you can have 1 way and 2 way on the same system and the end user is none the wiser unless they check it out,
Visionic has new 2way stuff. I read it as look out for 1 way in these manufacturers.

100's and 100's of these and not one problem
(maybe 1 out of box failure).. best detector out there, no question.Same here for our preferred product, I don't see why I am being "mental".
Just like you don't do Scantronic we don't do Risk-o, the Rokonet detector was the nail in the coffin years ago.

iWise = bulletproof. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.
I wouldn't agree, but to each there own.
-
could they be connected to the door Maglocks to unlock upon the fire alarm activating?
Seems possible yes.
-
but also an ambient temperature close to the human body
Most good quality quads have background temperature compensation, without having to switch to microwave only.
-
I don't follow - last time I checked Birmingham was above Winchester which makes it up north?
Winchester!
Southerners

My opinion is if they have got into the premises to use an umbrella or cloak then the protection isn't correct.
Masking could be done days before a break in so AM is important here.
-
Better to find a decent installer than a system IMO.
Different companies use there own preferred kit.

They would have to leave sufficient time to allow the traffic to adjust it's speed.
You can't expect to read a sign you have already passed.
