However a politely treated yet later defunct company doesn't help anyone...
There really seems no excuse for not having 2 way wireless;
I agree

I read it as it ran out of the tracks due to no stops.
Yes that’s right, but says the company checked all their other installations and found no faults on any? Covering up or just a one off?

Let them get on with it, not worth messing with imo
-
Also they checked all their gates and found no faults, this guy had been doing it 20yrs, god knows how this gate ended up so dangerous
-
Yeah I read this yesterday too Jimbo.
Think there was another one in Spain the other day too, little kid.

I saved £400 on a new set of tyres for my car by simply painting a tread on the old bald ones. they seem a bit slippy when it rains though?
Does it fix punctureres Pete? If so I could use some right now

It's great that a manufacturer is on here answering questions tbh, so thanks.
Not a trick question now, but did the introduction of SMPSU mean a component reduction on the PSU side of the alarm PCB (or later/future PCBs)?
Also re. tech helpline, do you prioritise 'trade' over 'DIY' calls? I wonder if you did it would go some way towards appeasing trade customers.
But, rather than trade being anyone with dazzasalarms@gmail.com registering on a website, it should be someone that has done a minimum of 1 training module with Texe (or had a rep round?)
I also know that a LOT of such calls are for stuff people really should know or people asking what end of the wires the EOL resistor goes etc...
+1 Trade should take priority

Can honestly say I've had very little problems with Texe kit, I only ever fit elite panels though, never had a psu go wrong.
-
Don't get me wrong, there is obviously more than just install for the inspectors to look at also.
quals, contact local college, there are courses for fire, and intruder but they are a bit rare. Otherwise experience is king

Generally you would have to be actively installing - and have installations to show. Just going by what you've said, have you got any actual customers yet?
I think they need to have at least ten recent installations to pick from IIRC.
Definatly, otherwise what are they inspecting?
dont think takeovers would count either
I'm guessing SSAIB do a pre application day?
NSI definitely do this

That's right, same as I gave to your missus

Surely nobody is still fitting these? Didn’t think any of them would be on clients phones for remote viewing.
The live images are shocking never mind trying to view one remotely...
I did think that myself, haven't seen any of this kit about for years, I was led to believe that back in the day DM was really good...

The way described above would only make the IO operate when your boiler room CP or SD goes off, you can select pre alarm ect too,
when the SD and CP activate, all the other devices (sounders and relays in group 199 will still go into fire as normal)
-
And I assume when they trigger (devices in boiler room) all other outputs will trigger? To raise alarm? Or no
-
So in your loop list, edit your io device into a new output group ( default is 199) so make it let's say 10.
then go into your "edit output cause and effect tab"
right click and select "add output group" create the group number 10 then select input point , then pick your call point or smoke from the list, to add more devices simply right click on your new group and select "add input event" to add more input devices.
you can do it by altering zones and creating zone rules also but it depends specifically on what your trying to achieve to be honest.
