So I'm going to fit an alarm to my new bungalow. Have narrowed it down to a Euro 46 pryronix
Not decided on PIRs yet as i want to understand about pet ones as i have a cat that wonders .
Looking at the instructions it seems ok to fit. I have never fitted one but am up to speed with electrics.
Any one got any advice with these, good control panel ? Easy to fit and programming ?
Many thanks
Mark

Now HiK have dropped the ddns service for this p2p ****, what are people's recommendations for DVR's that offer this? ADI budget stuff WBOX says it offers DDNS but that has also expired. I know Samsung offers the ipolis however it's about more pricey.
any thoughts? Opinions?
We use Videcon/concept Pro

Cameras need cleaning on a regular basis so access to them is very important. Best bet would to be use turret cameras as they do not attract as many spiders/cobwebs as bullets and domes.
Pop down to your local Adi branch as they have a decent deal on Hikvision 4Mp turret cameras at the moment.
Deal expired on 14th
The deal did not expire on the 14th. It is available throughout February. Only the items in the top left hand box have now expired.

This company has a revolving door! I worked there for abit and they are just a chuck it in outfit! Richard squire needs to learn how to talk to people properly aswell!! Lee Brooke's calls them the one stop shop they are nothing more than a clampit outfit! I feel sorry for John squire who started the company he must wonder what it has become! Richard squire spends most of his money in cosmetic surgery as he has had more Botox than Alicia Duvall! My heart goes out to the staff that work there!! They are a disgrace to the industry!
We've taken over a few Squire systems of late and they are shockingly bad.

It was how Da instructed us to get around the problem, it may not have been power it may have been data or something it was 7 years ago now.
I've had to the same thing. Think if you used the relay to disconnect the B terminal of the keypad the keypad presses were disabled.

and if you do have beam sensors, tell the sparky up the top pulling in cables before he moves in front and ends up evacuating the building... twice...
Set up correctly the beam should go into fault if fully blocked.

Hi all,
Another issue with my alarm. On searching on the forum, I understand that a TRBL POWER fault on the DA system Abacus is due to a faulty battery. Just wondering if I remove the cover to find out what battery to get, will all hell break lose? I've not reset the system or set it as I fear the internal sounder will just go off for hours. I just moved into this property and been left with no manuals etc. I have no engineer codes either, just the master code.
I'm assuming that if I undo the cover on the box, a tamper fault will register. Do I just switch the battery and reset the system with the master code? Or is this a job for the professionals? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
Titch
Trbl Power is also the message for AC fail. Try to set the system with the master code then unset the system and if it is AC failure and the AC has restored the panel will be reset.

Theres your answer mate.
Noone knows for sure as the products are fairly new to the market. Just go for the Pyronix and teach us a thing or two.

Pryronix Euro 46 is now APP compatible.
I've been waiting for this m8.
Will a v9.1 Euro 46 work with the APP?
Excuse my ignorance but is the Lan Module all that is required?

My first choice would be this quad detector:
https://www.pyronix.co.uk/products-and-solutions/kx15dq
Easily available online for around a tenner each. Great value imo.
If you are thinking about updating the panel it depends on what options you require. If like most you would like to control your intruder system by using an App then the Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ would be ideal. This may be a little expensive though and you would also need a expander for your detectors. Certainly worth considering though imo.

As for a straight swap for you Abacus the the Pyronix Euro Mini would take some beating. Again easily available online for approx £65 which is outstanding value.
Btw i am not a Pyronix Rep but have been installing their equipment for 15 years and highly recommend it.

A question about the App and notifications.
When the alarm is triggered and you get the "you have an alarm" notification for 20 seconds or so, is there a way to make the notification repeat itself? It is a bit poor if you do not hear the "you have an alarm" the first time around.
