Can anyone tell me the cost of the ongoing charge for the pyronix home control + app
is it cheap to fit a webway nano over a 3 year maintenance contract?
Diy it’s free for first 12 months and £36 a year there after. Registered installer think it’s something like £10 a year. It is a fantastic product and using insite and the cloud is a breeze.
Question: anyone know how to stop an ex-employee connecting using insite and the cloud?

Q = Quiescent (11.75Hr)
A = Alarm (0.25Hr)
1.2 = 5 Year Ageing Factor
[(Q x 11.75)+ (A x .25)] x 1.2 = Ah Required

This will do for cheap occasional

Two questions;
What size staples for 8 core?
What size staples for coax?

Yeah maybe time to upgrade to a Pyronix Euro 46 App panel

Enter engineers mode.
Remove Keypad
Cut one wire at a time and tape over each end.
Jobsa a gud un.

You can alter the app setting volume.
-
Just to add the app will auto log you out after 5 minutes.

As far as I know you cannot test the App this way. The only way is to do a “live” test by setting then activating the alarm. Make sure you are logged out of the app otherwise you will not receive the alarm notification.
You can test whether or not the panel is communicating with the cloud/app using the Diagnostic > Communications menu.

Install the Pyronix Enforcer and you will sleep well my friend. The app is excellent.

Put resistors into the spare zones
Never do this as it only cases confusion later on. Program the spare ccts are spare.

Security, Facilities and Business installations, not sure if you are being flippant or not?
I was just looking for helpful advice from others in the industry (I'm waiting for my Trade Application to go through)
Just surprised at your questions. You give the impression that you are very new to the industry.
If i were you i'd only takeover the RMV contract if it included updating the control panel to something you are familiar with. What equipment do you normally install?

Seem to recall this happening with Galaxy G2's a few years back. Think it was a software glitch. Never heard of it on a 48 though.

standard switches when I installed my alarm almost 20 years ago?
I think these contacts have done you proud. Time to replace them.

I'v never done "service" as a job role nor does our company hold any intruder maintenance contracts... Can someone confirm the steps to what's required as a bare minimum when doing a PPM.
Im thinking...
Walk test every device
Sample test some tampers depending on the size of install- will cause more problems than it solves.Sample test resistance on devices again depending on the size of installBattery calcs (batt volt, current in alarm, current in standby, batt charging volt)
all signals to ARC inc comms fail both paths? - don't touch that Dualcom Ariel it will eventually break!
Set/unset where possible
Bell test,
test bell tamp, remove power - test bell tamp will cause more problems than it solves. in a perfect world it should be tested thoughCheck no rearms, entry timers, exit timers, bell duration, reset levels
Compare as fitted install to specification
Fill out maintenance log...
I'm unsure so add, correct or remove anything to help...

Hi need some help , I've got a Euro mini board with the sounder connected to the Pgm output for engineer access.
i needed a wireless zone and I had a couple of inputs free so I added a UR 2-WE universal receiver and programmed an input as an output xpgm 4 but can't get it to work do the xpgm outputs differ to the Pgm output
thanks for any help
Is xpgm an input that can also be programmed as an output? Never used them myself as it just over complicates things. I think this can only be done on the main pcb zones and certainly not on a wireless ZEM.

The next firmware update is version 4.XX is it not?
I was told by Texecom the new app (which we BETA tested) would only work with the new Texecom Connect module and was a completely new app
It was sarcasm.

I know with version 4 there will be a new app, but the old app is absolutely terrible does anyone know if they are still going to support it?
Possibly after a firmware update.

If I remember right "system tampers" are defaulted as engineer reset. You will need the engineers code to reset the system tamper.

I'd say its much easier way to do 2 devices in series but use different resistor values?
We normally fit Knight G2 contacts that allow for this.
