  1. Alarm subscribers.... As a rule of thumb if the incoming co. needs wet nursing by the out going co. so they can support the system you may find you picked the wrong people to look after your alarm
  2. Lockable, when selected it won't default Resistor values are selectable on the M
  3. No Arf is Arf, http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/user/7025-arfur-mo/ aka the "wonder of wickford" or something beginning with "w" I forget which... Your "Arf Lite" & it might not be a complement
  4. IIRC Ademco was once a large supplier of glass reeds? I have experienced both Knight & CQR to fail, open, closed or spaz out.... I think graded contacts with pcb's are worse than resistors fitted into BS contacts for failing back in the golden age of DP when Arf was getting on the waiting list for a bus pass... You could measure the circuit during servicing & find failing contacts which going hi Ω, an extra 50Ω ain't never going show up on EOL

Just in the process of completing a refurbishment with int, fire, access & cctv I'm of the opinion none of the electrical installation has been tested the FP feed to the fire alarm had dead short on it (L+E) sparks had drilled though it weeks ago, No continuity on L for the cctv & access ring main in the server rm, but all energised
