    took me 2 visits & a couple of hrs to sort the last homehub out. I assume it was FTC I had a new TP-Link router & a 2nd user Draytek on hand on 2nd visits I intended to replace the hateful POS I need to amend my T&C's to make pratting with Homehubs or Thompson routers financially viable

    There's no DP or EOL circuits its all iD If you've not touched iD before... cost to rewire it'll be cheaper than fault finding 20yr old iD circuits

    who'd have thought a 20 yr alarm panel would be playing up... remove a rkp off the wall, connect via a flylead to the panel with no other rkp on the system & try to default apart from 4 rkp what else is on the system

    I did electronic repairs as a YTS, I used to like discharging CRT monitors & making a big f'ck off spark to the chasis

    Remove device from shed, place in house for a few days nr radio zex, should L! appear for this device open it & spin battery around...

    well.... Texecom radio stuff is almost as bad as Risco Start deleting & changing devices & you soon find the menus are all over the place & far from logical

    Termination or Cable damage Do you have suitable test monitor ? If not take it down & put on fly lead nr dvr

    top card is modem, lower card is looks like msx with 232 connections or just 232 card however its 15yr or so since I fitted one...
