Things found in airing cupboards

OK, here is a true story, it's not a security related reply but it does fit nicely into this thread!!

Someone told me about this:

A mate had a porno video and someone (NOT ME!!) asked him to copy it for him. The problem is he did not have 2 video recorders to do a tape-to-tape, so he set up his camcorder and recorded the TV screen with his camcorder.

He then played the camcorder into the VCR to make a second copy.

He then (at a later date) gave the copy back to his mate.

Upon playback, obviously the quality wasn't perfect as it was a recording of the TV screen. There was also a bit of interference on the side of the picture. When the picture darkened you could see a reflection of someone in the back ground "tugging his bishop!". while the "duplication" was being done!!!!

Oops!

Worst one i think i ever came across, we were fitting a system in Port Talbot. House was really scanky but you know what it's like, you dont do the job the boss gets Hissed and wont pay you. Anyway sent my mate upstairs to the bedroom to pull the carpet 2 mins later he calls me, he had to move the bed & underneath found a pair of soiled nickers and a half full bedpan. Scary the way some people live, didnt take us long to get out of there.

De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da

Many many years ago, on one manky house, I pulled the carpet back in one house and found it literally "alive" with creepy crawlies. Loads of these tiny black creatures all paniced when they were exposed to the light, and ran for cover under the undisturbed carpet.

It's surprising how little cable runs actually need to be under a carpet in circumstances like that!

Strange how such little things can help you see more clearly when working out your runs.:rolleyes:
