I know the Hik db can do rtsp but never used it, hik have sent the rtsp guide just going to read it and see

 

Also have checked with them and DB doesnt support onvif

Actually forget that, you're better off with the dahu bell, hikvision doorbell which has on they do various but I'm not sure what you mean by single channel playback as the hic and other recorders do playback more than one channel 

 

I assume you have a limited budget which is fair enough

I dont think Ive come across an app that cant do that? Dahua and Hik does it?

The 1 way playback on phone app is probably a bandwidth thing unless dual stream recording

Ive got Hik, uniview and serage apps and all but the serage when on playback mode on the app only playback 1 camera at the same time, you can see others but then when u select another camera the previous pauses Hence the change of brand

In my case 9 Yr old ahd unit does 4 way playback in app and 16 way if wanted on pc.

Im fairly certain Hik does play back more than 1 camera, when in playback just add more cameras Dahua definately does do it I have just tried it.

Never heard of Serage so your probably right 

def hik doesnt have syncronos playback

meaning if you forward or jump to say 7am only that 1 camera with a red box around it will move forward the rest will continue to play from original time (12am)
