Hikvision Doorbell - Pulling stream into Non Hik NVR

Hi all, i have a hikvision KV6113 - WPE1 C doorbell

 

Im upgrading my DVR which is also going to have some IP cams added and want to pull the stream of the doorbell in.

Am i limited with which recorder can i use or can i bring the stream into any DVR which also has Ip cams added?

I think any , but have to connect it manually on the NVR on spare channel using it's IP address etc

 

Hik connect as seperate unit for the call ring features

I didn't think you needed to do that him dB to hik dVR/NVR?

Actually the dahua doorbell is pretty good

Depends on the DVR some wont see other brands but they should all see Onvif. Most cams are sending out Onvif but I wouldnt know if the Hik doorbell does

Actually the dahua doorbell is pretty good 

But i wont be using a HIk DVR brand, will be either Uniview or Serage

 

 

test it with VLC i dont like hik either but if it can rtsp you should be able to get it on nvr

Then as above you need onvif which uniview probably will work better than serage , latter being total junk and uni more or less copy of hik

only reason i prefer serage is 4 cams to be viewed through the app. everything else is just 1 cam on playback, small thing but just feature we want

 

I know the Hik db can do rtsp but never used it, hik have sent the rtsp guide just going to read it and see

 

Also have checked with them and DB doesnt support onvif
