Over Christmas I have noticed shed loads of fast VW's stolen with keys on facebook

 

S3, S4, S5 & R whatever's

 

Being judgemental why are people buying or worse still financing fast cars, which are parked on the drive or worse still the street, within walking distance of rough estates..

 

only for them to be surprised & disappointed when their car disappears into the night a leaving a broken front door & grainy footage from there 30 quid ebay cctv...

It's like the old gti gsi days. They are getting harder to insure. My s4 isn't cheap to unsure

At least when it gets stolen you will have high quality CCTV of masked kids pinching it .

Mine has risen by nearly 50 percent this year. 

Rs4s etc were normally nicked to do a job with, is joyriding back? 

More chop shop and parts in your neck I reckon.

locally stuff appears to be nicked & then recovered, "dingers" appears to 2023 term for "joyriding" however they are robbing the house for the keys & making tik tok videos

 

personally if I going out robbing late on evening I'd be ragging the car around the council estate to a lock up & unbolting all the bits that make a RS better than the base diesel car & having an ebay store full of side skirts, front ends, big wheels & sports seats ??
