As I've decided this is a furry free zone thanks for your comments but please don't any more. However if your normal human self wants to that's fine. I will add for some reason this to the terms and conditions.

Schools letting kids identify as what they like in fear of discrimination, thats a tricky one. Someones bound to find a way to bend the rules in their favor on that one.

 

Example: Schools in Brighton would not let boys wear shorts because its not part of the uniform so the boys in protest wore skirts. The school could not send them home because it is part of the uniform and they cannot discriminate on sex. 

 

My take, I can see no valid reason as to why shorts could not be added as part of the uniform, if the school dictated the type, colour, length etc in line with their uniform colours. I can see that letting kids identify as whatever they want could end in tears but I dont have an answer for it.
