Accenta 6 keypad

Featured Replies

Hi a client has contacted me saying that they powered down their house to do some work and now the alarm keypad has button lights but nothing is working on it now LEDs and no noise from the keypad.

Has the fuses gone?

When was it last serviced and battery changed? How long was the power off for?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Hi they have never had it serviced I have a new battery for them but when I open the cover the alarm will sound and I cannot mute it on the keypad as it’s not working (I guess)

As above possible damage charging circuit.

If you don't know anything about these alarms with the greatest amount of respect should you (if you are a company) be touching them?

You may rectify the fault but there may be other issues within the system - you could give your customer a false sense of security thinking all is ok  - not being funny when I say that just an observation

Or, tbf, maybe not, as I did think that myself.
