ElecTech
Hi, We've got a site which requires a G3 intruder alarm, they wish to have no siren externally (we can put a few internally). No official link to an ARC but they have 24/7 security on site. The system is linked via Coretech (management system) and will be showing alarms 24/7 on site. Is this compliant with a full G3 system with no external siren. Thanks, Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42547-grade-3-no-siren-or-official-arc/ Share on other sites
PeterJames
It is my understanding that If its not monitored its not G3 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42547-grade-3-no-siren-or-official-arc/#findComment-480963 Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
You can fit G3 gear but you can't make it conform to G3. Thanks, So basically they want a system fitted to grade 3 specification with no bell box externally , which is simple you just install it as grade 3 But as they said above not much good for insurance approval as it won't conform totally to g3 All about insurance at end of the day and if it isn't they just want something more hardcore Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42547-grade-3-no-siren-or-official-arc/#findComment-480967 Share on other sites
davehudson
No SAB or 2 path ARC signalling then it can't be grade 3 for insurance purposes.
