xpertalarms
Off to quote a client for additional detection this week, their boiler house was broken into a couple of nights ago by the metal wombles and had a load of new pipe stolen that was stored in there. The boiler house is part of their building but can only be accessed from outside. What should I do for detection, I was thinking of having a TMD and a sounder in there that sets when the building is set in the evenings. Anyone else done anything similar before? PeterJames
Siesmic on 24hr , otherwise the boiler room could be broken into when the system isnt set Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42063-boiler-house/#findComment-475967 Share on other sites

sixwheeledbeast
TMD's are not suitable for harsh environments IMO. I wouldn't fit them at all, I have never rated them myself but that's beside the point. I would be using a separate area or a 24Hr group with two DT's (assuming confirmed) and protection on the door myself.
