Tenanted flat where outside alarm box flashing. number 8 illuminated on upper set  of numbers on keypad.   Neither owner nor tenant can recall security code.  Any help or advice welcome.

The strobe will continue to flash until the system is reset, to do this you would require the user code, speak to the landlord would be my advice.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Thanks Norman , but as I stated in the original post neither the tenant nor the owner (landlord) know or remember the user code.

Sussed out the security code . External light seems to have stopped flashing however the upper  number 8 on the keypad is flashing. What does this mean?

 

Upload a photo of the keypad or model number, guessing a 800l or similar.

Nothing  happens . The upper number 8 continues to flash after the code # is pressed.

 

Are you sure you have the correct code?

 

Try inputting the 4 digit code again, does it begin to set?
