texecom yes, installed a smart com when it launched, as a comms device rather than as HA.

 

not too interested in HA but times are changing. Smart com and connect app working very well, customer is well pleased so far

but you're right, people want to feel in control 

sad thing is there was a chance of alarm panels being the hub. Too late now. The domestic market will be apple google etc now
