Do I have to do this even though I'm not using an RKP? I don't recall seeing this option but I'll have a look when I'm home from work. Or is part setting done via areas on the enforcer ? datadiffusion
I find a lot of people esp. domestics using a slightly more commercial panel, often choose Areas to try and achieve what most of us would just use Part for. 1 1 So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41490-part-set-enforcer/page/2/#findComment-467495 Share on other sites

I think this is what I'm doing (or trying to do). I couldn't actually find the designated 'Part Set' option, and having the PIR's respond differently in different zones was the only way I could think of getting the same effect. Unless I missed the part set option? Unless I missed the part set option? I fixed an enforcer once , he asked me about part set , his part set was like setting full set and panel was upstairs so never got round to finding out why the B key doesn't part set I still don't get it lol Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41490-part-set-enforcer/page/2/#findComment-467497 Share on other sites

Go to Assign Keypads/Readers -> Keypad 00 and assign Area B to it. 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41490-part-set-enforcer/page/2/#findComment-467515 Share on other sites

Hi there, Thanks for your reply. I went here and it was already assigned to all zones. However, I set it to A and B, but this hasn't worked :-( Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41490-part-set-enforcer/page/2/#findComment-467518 Share on other sites
Amps
Is Area B assigned to the user code? I think you are presuming that both the A & B keys will be highlighted when you enter your code. This is not always the case. Enter your code and the A key is highlighted. If you press the B key is that highlighted? 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41490-part-set-enforcer/page/2/#findComment-467519 Share on other sites

If I try to select B, A remains highlighted but B still doesn't come on.
