We have set port forwarding and now works fine on a BT mobile, until we try to use my Vodafone to view then some how I seem to kick all users off and they can't get back on until I reset the router. Is it a problem with my mobile?

I cant see how what sp you're using would make any difference, could it be admin settings or it may be the phone itself are you using iphone and the others droid perhaps?

As it's not been mentioned yet, it's best practice to setup a VLAN or the like as an extra layer of protection so your DVR can't be used to attack the rest of your devices on the network.

When you port forward a device to the external internet you are entrusting this device to be secure as it will be a weak point in the firewall.

Alternatives are VPN's as mentioned above, this will limit you to one device though.

Unless you have multiple devices setup for the VPN

Did you setup individual users on DVR?
