Hi I will be fitting my first alarm ti my bungalow,

have been researching a lot about fitting them, It will be wired so have decided to go with Euro 46 probably the app version to go with the modern flow as seems easier than fitting a texecom elite.

a few questions

1. has anyone fitted the euro 46 app panel is it worth getting the app edition

2. can you still fit a sms sender unit to the App version so it texts as well as alerts you on the app.

3. do Pet PIR really work

4. what are most peoples preferred make of PIR/door sensors bell box ?

Pet pirs seem pointless to me, be prepared for reposition and messing about , cats dogs seem to jump in the wrong spots and weird places 

 

All the pros would say go perimeter protection instead and perhaps have pirs where you would always remember to close off the areas so the pet can't go there and so on 

I have had good results from Bosch Blu Line Pet but would always say perimeter is advised.

 

You say perimeter . What do you use for that ? 

 So no Pir inside just door/window sensor plus out side
