February 17, 20179 yr comment_458962 As mentioned, main points for me would be the noise from the NVR's fans and the height of the cameras. Height also for the IR range as I assume they'll be anti vandal domes. The range won't be much good by the time it reaches the floor. A metre or two lower can work wonders. Best bet would to be use turret cameras as they do not attract as many spiders/cobwebs as bullets and domes. Pop down to your local Adi branch as they have a decent deal on Hikvision 4Mp turret cameras at the moment. Reading down thinking somewhere hikmission is going to be mentioned But yes cleaning needs consideration, although the most residential either don't clean at all , or use an abrasive cloth on the ceramic and wonder why it's fogged up at night , muppets Edited February 17, 20179 yr by MrHappy removed link Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/40967-cctv-positioning/page/2/#findComment-458982 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
