Hi everyone!

 

I just thought i'd introduce myself, i'll be posting an enquiry into (hopefully) the right section in a moment - I'm currently about to replace the main board for my elderly mothers 15 year old alarm system as i believe this has failed. I'll post what i know and hopefully someone can help me out! My alarm fitting experience is erm...zilch, aside from a quick dusting of the sensors and replacing the battery/fuses! Anyway, hopefully someone can help - i'm not even sure this is correct kind of forum for such a request....but i'll give it a go. Thankyou all!

Do you have any electrical electronic or it hardware experience , or you going to blag it like me? And hope for the best....

I'm reasonably gifted with car mechanics and computers but no security/alarm fitting experience. I'm good at following instruction though!

But yes... I will be blagging a bit n hoping for best, lol

You admit you have no experience but will follow instruction, plenty who have experience, are shite and won't follow instruction so I'd say you heads above.

    haha, well I'll usually bow to experience. If someone is experienced I shouldn't have to question as to why I'm doing something I'm being asked to do.
