Dear All

On a G2 44 - Is it possible to use a keypad proximity Keyfob only to set an alarm when leaving the house,  but disable it so it cannot be used to unset the alarm on return?  I'd like the unset to be done by entering the appropriate code at the keypad.

I believe this can be done on the RF Keyfobs but not sure about the proximity ones.

Thanks

Nikki

Does the g2 have all the access levels?

Yes

This allows the user type to be selected. There are 4 types available to choose from:

0 = Cleaner Can only set and unset the system
1 = User Can do all day-to-day operation but cannot override fault conditions
2 = Manager As per User but can override faults and reset alarms and tampers
3 = Master As per Manager but can add, remove and alter user codes.

8 = MAX Function This option allows users to be assigned a MAX function.

1 = Access Only This attribute allows a user to gain door access by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.

2 = Unset Only This attribute allows a user to unset the system by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.

3 = Set and Unset This attribute allows a user to set and unset the system by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.

Yes but not cleaner lol that's dimension

No its a G2-44 we have loads like this, its in the manual pages 16 & 17 (had to check)

So that's a definitive "no" it can't be done I guess...not with a prox keyfob.

Yes it can be done, we have sites with G2-44 and set only option, may depend on the panel firmware though.
