datadiffusion
When the NVM IC fails it can easily be replaced, it's not soldered. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39835-scantronic-bugs/page/2/#findComment-442229 Share on other sites

al-yeti
Why? norman
Changing a control instead of a £1 repair where the customer keeps the system they are used to? al-yeti
At least offer it, and show what's new , some don't bother And it won't cost a pound for the job either Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39835-scantronic-bugs/page/2/#findComment-442270 Share on other sites
datadiffusion
To be honest I have replaced many a 9800 for an ion. It's not as if the customer doesn't get something like an LCD display and not having to have 5 door contacts on one zone, 4 PAs on another etc...!
