Does anyone have an idea of working distance between a single transmitter and the receiver?

I have a customer with a seperate alarm system in a steel container that he wants to link to the Premier 48 in his house about 100m or so away   I am thinking of using a Ricochet contact transmitter triggered from the container alarm panel and mounted externally in a weatherproof box with the receiver sited inside the house on the wall facing it.

There is nothing much in between, but I don't seem to be able to get an answer on what the typical range is.  There is also not really anywhere to mount an aditional unit to act as repeater if it doesn't reach.  I have used the Texecom wireless stuff before, but not in a situation like this so just wondered if anyone else has?

It's mesh so as above you can use extra contacts to increase the signal security.

Either Contacts or the new external detectors, would do.

It will depend on the environment so best to bench test first

the main obstacle is getting the door contact transmitter far enough away for the steel container which your sending the signal out from.

Then you can worry about devices in waterproof boxes between the house and the container, I would have done some readings in the field to see what I have to play with.

you cant test mesh unless you test every device to location through the mesh. that takes a while from what ive read?
