Galaxy 2 - Alarm. Panic Alarm Test

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an ADT alarm which is a galaxy g2.

I want to test the panic alarm. How do I go about doing this?

I can see where I can do a waking test to check the sensors all work. Where can it put it in a mode to test the panic alarm?

You could walk test the circuit but you may as well just push it and silence assuming audible only

Hi,

So ran my test and found one my wireless PA doesnt seem to work. Looks like it could be the battery but not sure how to get into any ideas? Pic attached.

I also tested my wired PA and that works fine - used a key to reset it.

Now when trying to activate alarm i am getting "user reset" required. I enter my code and view the log entry but this doesnt seem to get rid of the message. Any ideas?

cheers

Ahh cool - changed battery but does seemed to have resolved the problem. Still doesnt seem to trigger the alarm.

Any advice on how i can check that the PA are paired correctly with the Galacy G2 system?

The user reset issue is resolved now though - the wired PA hadnt reset propery. Had to open it up to reset it.

cheers
