Number Of New Installs Per Month?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm new here but have been reading the TSI forums for a few months now.

It seems like most the members here are decent people and the responses seem genuinely useful, so I thought I'd register :)

So, I basically trying to understand how many new installs you guys are doing a month and what percentage take up maintenance contract. Obviously this is going to vary massively depending on the size of the company and number. of engineers etc. So perhaps it'd be more useful to list like this:

Installs | install engineers | % maintenance

e.g. 30 | 2 | 50%

Look forward to seeing the response.

Thanks,

Reggie

Hi Reggie

It also depends on the size of the install, some installs take a month

We try and get 100% maintenance, you have to have maintenance if you want monitoring with Police response

Fair point Peter.

So for the sake of this thread, let's focus on domestic jobs only, assuming wireless installs, taking just one day.

cheers,

But you wouldnt get a true result

For example I havent had any domestic wireless installations in the last three or four months, but I still managed to keep 14 engineers and two subbies busy.

We are mad busy but I can count on one hand how many bells only domestic systems we have fitted in the last 12 months and every one has maintenance or I have no interest in selling it at all.

... the office is spotless :)

Nothing boils my pss more than engineers in the office, I wont have that, if there in the office they are not screwing stuff to walls which is what I am paying them for

& his house is two  :teehee:

There is only one engineer I allow install electronic security in my house

new,

intruder -  3 new systems, 100% maint 1 bells 2 x G4

1 - cctv small 8 cam system 100% maint

1 - access with 6 doors 100% maint

1 take over, of 9100 swapped to used 48 with g2 solo 100% maint

a dozen of one off repairs, 0% maint mostly lettings co.

weird stuff-

over 2k off locks (we don't do locks)

repair of traffic barrier (we don't do barriers)

£20 lock to vga port (4 a telly, we don't do telly lock)
